Having escaped from Bluff Cove, the epicentre of an alien invasion, criminal conspiracy and zombie uprising, PC Jake Rodwell finds his daughter, Emily, in the clutches of her grandparents who’ve been hiding a dark secret.

Before Rodwell can escape with Emily, the growing hordes of undead close in on the house, trapping them inside along with the increasingly erratic DCI Bannen and two WPCs.

With food supplies dwindling and zombie attacks increasing in frequency and ferocity, Rodwell agrees to put his semi-zombie status to good use and leave the sanctuary to lead the resistance against the spread of the undead. 

Discovering that he’s joined on his world-saving expedition by an unwanted guest whose presence changes everything, Rodwell faces the task of policing apocalyptic streets, thwarting the zombie uprising and keeping his loved ones safe as the world faces a crisis from which there is no turning back.
