Tricky things to write, blurbs. Trying to condense multi thousand word novels into a couple of hundred? That’s not easy. But I put mine up for your perusal and look forward to any criticism or complements you send my way:

As far as unreliable narrators go, John Peachcroft has got it licked. Although what isn’t in any doubt is his lack of success as an author.
Sales of his 10 self-published books have ground to such a halt that his girlfriend has handed him an ultimatum: Stop writing rubbish nobody wants to read, or I’m off.
Somehow Peachcroft manages to negotiate a stay of execution with his beloved, giving him one year to give this being a successful author thing one last crack.
This is the story of that year. A study of desperation and deceit, secrets, lies, madness and a bit more deceit.
It's a mystery without a murder and a tale with such a twist that you really ought to give yourself a big pat on the back if you see it coming.
