Worst Date in the Month for KENP Page Reads

In an ideal world, no date would be the worst date in the month for KENP page reads.
Every day would yield reads aplenty from Kindle Unlimited subscribers who just can’t get enough of your words.
Alack, only JK Rowling is likely to experience such joy and quite rightly for her Harry Potter series deserves all the plaudits it gets.
For the rest of us, we have to cherish every page read we get. Even if it’s a non-earning 1 page read (of which I’ve received one today for my Zompendium collection of zombie novels).
Last year, I kept close tabs on the KENPs I received throughout the year and can now reveal which dates of the month were the least successful.
THE WORST: The 31st
2ND worst: The 10th
3rd worst: The 8th
4TH worst: The 17th
5th worst: The 12th
Learnings for
Not sure there’s a lot to share here, as the bad days are spread about the entire month.
Interestingly (perhaps), the 31st also performed worst for freebie giveaways and sales, so maybe it’s just a bad time for all kinds of book related activity, certainly for books with ‘by Jon Lymon’ on the front.
Most likely, another year’s worth of statistics will unveil more detailed findings that could be of use to fellow indie authors. Stay tuned!
