Worst Month of the Year for KENP Page Reads

When it comes to the month of the year that registered the fewest KENP page reads for Jon Lymon books in 2025, the summer months proved that Lymon’s tales of dark comedy and horror are not finding their way into people’s suitcases.

My books are not taking to the skies or getting filled with sand on the world’s beaches. And people aren’t using their Kindle Unlimited subscriptions to read my works.

I know all this because the worst 3 months of the year for KENP page reads for me were all in the summer.

SEPTEMBER registered the 3^rd lowest amount of KENP page reads of the year

JUNE was 2^nd 

And the winner was the UK’s traditional holiday month when the schools are off and the skies are blue (hopefully) AUGUST.

We had a good summer in the UK in 2025, which perhaps explains why people were loathed to attempt to read a horror or dark comedy book. Perhaps I should write a light comedy book that will appeal to a summer audience?
